Spider Report

This is a orb web. The spider uses it to catch its prey.

Some spiders are harmful and some aren't. A spider belongs to the Arachnid family and has eight legs, which have seven parts.

A spider has two body parts - the abdomen and the thorax. The spider has fangs which can be poisonous.

All spiders spin webs with their spinnerets. Spinnerets are pointy things on the abdomen. Their web is made out of silk which is produced in the spider's body.

Spiders can get hungry, so they build a web to catch insects.

Spiders have an exoskeleton instead of a back-bone to protect their body.
